Żelazowa Wola

Żelazowa Wola, Fryderyk Chopin’s birthplace

Żelazowa Wola, birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin, in Tygodnik Ilustrowany of 14 November 1891.

Fryderyk Chopin entered the world on 1 March 1810, in the manor house of Count and Countess Skarbek in Żelazowa Wola. However, the little Fryderyk lived only a few months in the house where he was born. In the autumn of that same year, the Chopin family moved to Warsaw.
