Radziwi³³ Palace (also known as the Governor’s Palace), situated on ul. Krakowskie Przedmie¶cie, is believed to have been the venue for Fryderyk Chopin’s first public performance. The debut of the eight-year-old pianist took place on 24 February 1818. The concert was organised under the initiative of Countess Zofia Zamoyska, in aid of the Warsaw Charitable Society.
